HOT OIL TREATMENT – What is that?

Hot Oil Treatment

What is Hot Oil Treatment?
Like the name says, natural oil (mostly olive oil) is heated and applied to the hair and scalp. WATCH OUT: The oil should NOT be hot, only warmed up a bit – otherwise you could burn your sculp.

What is the benefit of Hot Oil Treatment?
It is used to get rid of dry skin and to make your hair soft and shiny. Through the intensive care your hair gets healthier and doesn´t break that fast anymore – your hair growth out healthy and shiny. Most of the people think, their hair growth faster. Seems like that, because the ends won`t break of anymore and your hair growth longer.

How do I use it?
It is very easy. Just take a little bowl and put some olive oil inside. Insert it into the microwave and heat it up just a few seconds.

ATTENTION: It shouldn´t be hot, just warmed up a bit! Otherwise you could burn your sculp. Check out the temperature with your finger first.

Depart your hair into eight parts (four in the front and four in the back). Massage the warm oil into the hair with your hands a bit at a time. Work yourself trough just that way. At the end you can use a wide comb to distribute it better trough your hair.

Wrap your hair with clingfilm or a plastic bag and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. You can also let it sit over night.

Some women only let it in for about 10 minutes and lie in bed, while letting their head hang down the edge of the bed. The blood flow will become better. If you want to try this version, take care that you won`t get dizzy. Sit up slowly! If you have problems with your blood circulation I don`t recommend doing this.

Co-Wash your hair to rinse the oil out. Get your hair wet and massage the conditioner in. Leave it in about 3 minutes and rinse it out with lukewarm water or cold water to add more shine.

Done!

CAREFUL: Don´t do it more than once a week!

Have fun trying! ;)

P.S.: Please excuse misspelling or not using the proper word. Thank you!
